Our annual Memorial Day commemoration at Winona Cemetery starts at 10:45 am on May 25. The honored vet and featured speaker is retired Marine Lieutenant Colonel Norb Murray who, as a helicopter pilot, flew 820 Vietnam combat missions. He also served as “Helo One” pilot for three US Presidents.

Participants include Mayor Lou Ogden, the Tualatin Police Honor Guard, TVFR crew with squirt 34, Hayley Rouseselle singing the National Anthem and concludes with a WWII submariner blowing “Taps” on a trumpet.
Immediately following this ceremony, the VFW Mens Auxiliary will be providing a free good old fashioned picnic at the Tualatin Community Park.
