This partition will create a norther parcel with a lot area of approximately 50 acres and a southern parcel with a lot area of approximately 48 acres. These acreage citations include one-half of the right-of-way area for SW Tualatin-Sherwood Road and SW 124th Avenue\, per Washington county code. The proposed partition is the first step toward the construction of the Willamette Water Supply System Water Treatment Plant (WWSS WTP). The plant will be build on the southern parcel. \n\nThe new drinking water system\, when operational in 2026\, will provide a reliable water supply for the region while also helping water system operators balance supply during times of drought or other supply interruptions\, and recover more quickly after a large natural disaster. More information about the future WWSS WTP project can be found here.\n\nThe existing 98-acre taxlot is currently zoned Future Development 20-Acre (FD-20) by Washington County. A partition inside the Urban Growth Boundary is permitted through a Type II procedure pursuant to Community Development Code Section 605-2.1(A)(2). This will require a submittal of a Land Divition/Partition application to Washington County. \n\nWe look forward to discussing the proposal with you and your neighbors. Please feel free to contact Marlys Mock at 503-941-4570 or info@ourreliablewater.org if you have any questions of comments. \n\n\n\nClick here for more materials on Neighborhood Meetings X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
