Willowbrook Summer Arts Camp invites Chamber members and friends to join them Thursday, October 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Tualatin Heritage Center to discover what makes Laika a rising star in the stop-motion animated film world. Laika representative Mark Shapiro will demonstrate the art and technologies used to create popular films like Coraline, ParaNorman and Boxtrolls. About 450 creative folks work at Laika in Hillsboro including Willowbrook graduate Rachel Olson who will describe her contributions to the films. Please email wbprogram@yahoo.com to register and be prepared to pay $10 per person to help support scholarships for the 2016 season. Seating is limited. Parking is at the Tualatin Police Department.
