Veterans' Recognition Breakfast

All Veterans and members of the general public are invited to a Veterans’ Recognition Breakfast on Monday, November 9, 2015. This event is being held at the Juanita Pohl Center, 8513 SW Tualatin Road, in Tualatin, starting at 8:00am with a delicious breakfast, speakers and free prize drawings lasting until 9:30am.
Five honored speakers will be sharing fascinating stories related to their military experiences. Our guest speakers include a Marine helicopter pilot who had 820 combat flights in Vietnam and went on to become a Marine One Helicopter pilot for three U.S. Presidents. Two graduated from US Military Academies, one Army and the other Navy. Another speaker was a female in an Army Military Police unit in both Afghanistan and Iraq. The final speaker is an Army Purple Heart recipient wounded in Afghanistan who returned to active duty after having a leg amputated.
