Who do you know that cares about making a difference in the world and who has as little as 2 hours a year to volunteer for a nonprofit that funds health and education programs in Portland's Sister City of Mutare, Zimbabwe? Please ask them to come to an event Thursday, June 20 5:30pm-7:30pm at 1201 SW Jefferson, (West Cafe) to hear about these efforts and our needs for volunteers to help with events, grant writering, outreach to Portland schools, booth staffing, tshirt applique applications, rewriting bylaws and more. The event is free and includes beer, wine and light food. Attendees will learn about our past accomplishments and future goals, as well as see images of the people of Zimbabwe.
