Dear Community Business Partners,
The City of Portland in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the United States Secret Service are co-hosting a local Ransomware Educational Open House. The event is open to all Portland-Metro area Small and Medium sized business leaders, at no cost. Come join us for a presentation and discussion on what Ransomware is, how it can affect your business, and steps you can take within your organization to help reduce the risk to your business.
Representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Secret Service, and The City of Portland’s Information Security Division will be on hand to present timely insights and answer questions about the Ransomware threat. The event will be held at the Portland World Trade Center Auditorium on Friday August 26th 2016. There will be two sessions held to allow local business leaders and owners to pick a time that best fits their schedule.
Please spread the word and reach out to any leaders or organizations in your community. On-line reservations are required, so please reserve your seats early and invite those who would benefit the most from attendance.
• See PDF version of the invitation.
We hope you have the time to join us on August 26th, for either the morning or afternoon session!
