"In Good Faith" - A Conversation About Religious Difference in Oregon
In partnership with Oregon Humanities, the Washington County Museum has organized a facilitated conversation exploring religious difference in Oregon. Writer and former chaplain Elizabeth Harlan-Ferlo will lead participants in examining the tools we use to talk about religion without dismissing others' beliefs or flattening the beautiful and sometimes harrowing complexities of our experiences.
Elizabeth Harlan-Ferlo has created extensive curricula on religion and intercultural competency. She served for nine years as an Episcopal school lay chaplain. She is trained in facilitation for community, conflict, and collaboration with a creative arts focus.
“In Good Faith” is part of the museum’s new Local Story program, which was developed to raise awareness about the dynamic people who contribute to the living history of this remarkable region.
