Community Partners for Affordable Housing will host its 15th annual fundraiser ''HomeWord Bound: An Event of Literary Proportions,'' on April 5, 6-10 p.m., at the Tualatin Country Club, 9145 SW Tualatin Road. The evening includes dinner, a silent auction, and a dozen local authors, book signings and sales. Tickets are $75; a table of 10 for $600. Reservations are required. For our 15th year of HomeWord Bound, CPAH is thrilled to announce our 2013 featured speakers: Best selling authors Whitney Otto, Daniel H. Wilson and Kim Stafford. New York Times Best Selling author Daniel H. Wilson (a robotocist by trade, whose last novel, ''Robopocalypse'' is being made into a movie by Steven Spielberg) will discuss his new novel, ''Amped.'' Poet and essayist Kim Stafford (son of legendary Oregon Poet Laureate William Stafford), will discuss his poignant yet uplifting book about his brother's suicide in 1988, ''100 Tricks Every Boy Can Do.'' And New York Times Best Selling author Whitney Otto (who wrote ''How to Make an American Quilt'' – which was also made into a movie by Steven Spielberg), will discuss her latest novel, ''Eight Girls Taking Pictures,'' described as a deeply affecting meditation on the lives of women artists. Guest authors also in attendance include: TJ Brown, Rob DeBorde, Brian Doyle, Scott Farris, April Henry, Karen Karbo, Carter Sickels, Laura Stanfill and Yuvi Zalkow. Special guest Dan Murphy, founding general manager of The Broadway Rose Theatre Company in Tigard, will join us once again as Master of Ceremonies. This event is the signature fundraiser for CPAH.
