Fourth annual gigantic Plant Sale, benefiting Meals on Wheels People, at the Juanita Pohl Center on Friday, April 22 (10am to 3pm) and Saturday, April 23 (10am to 12 pm). Shop from a huge selection of annuals, perennials, vegetable starts, herbs, house plants, succulents and tropicals. Prices range from $1 to $15. Demos and workshops on canning, preserving, urban permaculture and how to cook the food you grow. Master gardeners and horticulture enthusiasts will be on hand to answer questions.
