The November election is right around the corner, and Oregon voters will decide key statewide races with major impacts on our state’s future.
Join us for a candidate forum featuring the Democratic and Republican nominees for Secretary of State and State Treasurer at a business-focused forum sponsored by Oregon Business & Industry, Oregon State Chamber of Commerce, the Portland Business Alliance, the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce, the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce, Springfield Chamber of Commerce, the Bend Chamber, the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Medford and Jackson County.
The Race for Secretary of State
1. Shemia Fagan is the Democratic nominee for Secretary of State. She's currently serving as an Oregon Senator representing District 24 in East Portland.

2. Kim Thatcher is the Republican nominee for Secretary of State. She's currently serving as an Oregon Senator representing District 13 in Keizer and surrounding communities.

The Race for State Treasurer
1. Tobias Read is was elected State Treasurer in November 2016 as a Democrat. Prior to that, he served in the Oregon House of Representatives serving District 27 in Beaverton.

2. Jeff Gudman is the Republican nominee for State Treasurer. He has had a long career in the private sector and recently completed two terms on the Lake Oswego City Council.
