Down on The Farm - Community Open House

The public is invited to attend the Oregon State University, North Willamette Research and Extension Center annual Down On The Farm Community Open House. This popular event highlights important and fascinating research and educational outreach that is being conducted at the center. This work includes berries, fresh market vegetables, specialty seed crops, nursery & greenhouse crops, Christmas trees and small farm production. The event will include tractor hay wagon ride tours at 4:00, 4:45, 5:30 and 6:15 pm. There will also be berry tasting, tractor driving and many interesting displays. Fresh from the field vegetables and berry smoothies will be available for purchase. Hamburgers and hotdogs grilled by the Canby FFA will also be available for purchase. Be sure to mark your calendar for this once a year event!! There will be something for everyone ? Bring the entire family!
