If you are committed to engaging\, cultivating and developing a local pool of skilled\, qualified and career-ready talent\, you are in good company\, and #WorkReady programs have your goals in mind. \n\n\n"Women In STEM" event for ALL Girl Students\, Friday\, March 6th from 11:30-1:30pm \n\n\n We're inviting all Girls to join a Women In STEM event at Tualatin High School to learn about the opportunities for living wage and family wage jobs available in our community and world. Here's what the event will look like:\n \n 11:00-11:30am - Businesses set up their Career Tables\n 11:30-12:00am - girls students will arrive at the Library and be treated to a light lunch. There's an opportunity for Women Owned or Managed businesses to have a Career Table to showcase your business and to network with the students to answer their questions about what it's like to work in your business\, and the skills and/or education required to go into your field.\n 12:00-1:00pm - The Women In STEM Club from Portland State University will offer a panel discussion on the opportunities for Women in STEM and what a pathway in STEM might look like.\n 1:00-1:30pm - More networking at the Career Tables and Raffle Drawing\n \n \n Criteria to participate:\n \n $50 Sign Up fee to help cover the cost of lunch (This cost covers your booth & those working the booth)\n Staff your Career Table from 11:30am - 1:30pm\n Provide materials about your business or industry. Freebies are always welcome.\n One Raffle Prize of your choice ($25-$50 value)\n \n \n Additional Information:\n \n We're inviting all Girl Students and are planning for about 100 to show up.\n We'll be using an RSVP to support pre-registration.\n Every student that RSVP's will be given a Dutch Bros Coffee Card ($5 value)\n Every student who attends will be given 1 Raffle Ticket for the Raffle Prizes that you bring.
