DESCRIPTION:TVF&R Hosts Scout Day for Girls and Boys in Local Troops\n\nScout troops from Tualatin won't want to miss an opportunity to learn about fire safety and emergency preparedness from professionals.\n\nTualatin Valley Fire & Rescue is hosting a Scout Day on Saturday\, April 11\, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the North Operating Center\, 20665 S.W. Blanton St.\, in Aloha. Both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts from across TVF&R's service area are invited to attend this free community event.\n\nScouts will have an opportunity to tour a fire station\, learn about firefighting as a career\, go through the Fire Safety House\, and explore firefighting gear\, fire trucks\, and engines. \n\nScouts will also have a chance to earn their first-aid merit badges by going through a skills course with TVF&R emergency medical technicians.
