It is held in conjunction with the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta\, which always takes place on the 3rd Saturday in October. The course is flat\, fast\, and friendly for runners\, walkers\, stroller riders\, and four-legged friends. Gather your family at Tualatin Community Park on 8515 SW Tualatin Road and follow the route through scenic trails\, over a footbridge\, and into Cook Park and back. For extra fun\, wear a costume and stay for a unique trick-or-treating experience for youth after the race.\n\nAll net proceeds will support Tualatin Rotary's first-generation college scholarships at Tualatin High School and opportunities for school-aged children in our community. This event was founded in memory of Marine Corporal Matthew Lembke\, a 2005 graduate of Tualatin High School who lost his life while serving in Afghanistan.
