DESCRIPTION:MEDIA ALERT\n\nOregon Tech Students Showcase Exciting Projects at Annual Symposium\n\n \n\nWHEN:  Wednesday\, June 3rd\, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Community members and media are invited to attend the event.\n\n \n\nWHERE:  Oregon Tech Wilsonville Campus\, 27500 SW Parkway Ave\, Wilsonville\, OR 97070\n\n \n\nWHAT:  Oregon Tech is excited to invite the Wilsonville community to attend the Annual Student Project Symposium on Wednesday\, June 3rd\, 5-7 p.m.\n\n \n\nThe Student Project Symposium is a venue for students to display their projects and talk to visitors about their work. The Student Project Symposium showcases the real-world\, applied experiences that students have achieved during their studies at the Oregon Institute of Technology\, and the high-quality impact they will have on the state's and region's workforce. More than 75 student projects will be on display\, with oral presentations on the following:\n\n \n\n	      Using Gaming to Sharpen Fine Motor Skills (Michelle Kantor - BS Electrical Engineering)\n	      24 kW Pilot PV System for the confederates tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (Kevin Vuong\, Joshua Powers\, Mark Messina - BS Renewable Energy Engineering)\n	      Design and Build of a Large Scale Stirling Engine (Brandon Clarno - BS Mechanical Engineering Technology)\n	      D50 vs D10: A Review of EMS Protocols for Hypertonic Dextrose (Kristian Adair\, Micah Fillinger\, Ryan Palmberg\, Amy Quinn\, and Jonathan Ripley- AAS  Emergency Medical Services)\n\n \n\nHOW:  The Symposium is organized as a 2-hour social event\, which includes project posters\, demonstrations\, and a few selected oral presentations. Students\, faculty\, family members\, employers\, educational and industrial partners\, as well as the public are invited to attend this impressive event.
