SUMMARY:Memorial Day Observance
DESCRIPTION:This year's Memorial Day observance is on Monday\, May 27th at Winona Cemetery at 11am.  Please bring portable chairs for there is no seating at Winona. \n\n\n\nThe main speaker is Tualatin resident and Pearl Harbor Survivor "Monty" Montgomery. He is the only Medal of Honor recipient living in Oregon.  Bob Maxwell (WWII vet\, coming from Bend) will be honored and WWII submariner George Hager (Longtime participant from Portland) concludes ceremony\, playing taps on his bugle.  Other participants include State Sen Richard Devlin\, State Rep Julie Parish\, Mayor Lou Ogden\, Tualatin Police Honor Guard and TVFR team with squirt 34. \n\n\n\nPicnic for attendees follows at Tualatin Park. Crawfish cook-off winner\, Chef Perry Perkins\, is providing food and will be preparing lunch with his Hautemealz team.
