Before joining OBI\, Angela served as\n\nsecretary to the University of Oregon's board of trustees\, where she\n\nplayed a critical role in establishing the university's governing practices\n\nand operations.\n\n\n\nPrior to joining the university\, Angela had a successful career in public\n\npolicy. She served as chief of staff to the former Oregon House Co-Speaker Bruce Hanna and held the\n\nsame role in the House Minority Office. She also has spent time in Washington\, D.C.\, serving as press\n\nsecretary to retired Rep. Greg Walden. Angela also was of counsel in the Portland office of the law\n\nfirm Dunn Carney\, specializing in comprehensive government affairs services.\n\nOBI was founded in 2017 with the merger of Oregon's two most significant statewide business\n\norganizations\, Associated Oregon Industries and the Oregon Business Association. The result is\n\nOregon's largest and most effective statewide business advocacy group.
