DESCRIPTION:This July's presentation will be by Dr. Lorinna Lombardi\, with Oregon Eye Specialists.\n\n \n\nDr. Lorinna Lombardi will be hosting the presentation with a discussion on Diabetic Eye Disease.\n\n \n\nWebsite: www.oregoneyes.net\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nBio: Lorinna Lombardi\, M.D. is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery\, general and urgent eye care\, including patients with cataracts\, diabetes\, glaucoma\, macular degeneration\, and other eye conditions.\n\n\n\nDr. Lombardi received her M.D. from Stanford University School of Medicine and completed her transitional internship at Highland Hospital in Oakland\, California. She moved to Portland to complete her ophthalmology residency at the OHSU Casey Eye Institute (CEI)\, where she won the Excellence in Ophthalmic Knowledge Acquisition Award\, the Kenneth C. Swan Resident Research Award\, and the Resident Service Excellence Award.  She joined the CEI as a faculty member upon graduation.\n\n\n\nDr. Lombardi spent 14 years at CEI\, where she was the Director of the Comprehensive Ophthalmology Division and an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology.  She was voted as Portland Monthly's Top Doc in 2019 and 2020.\n\n\n\nDr. Lombardi is married with two children and a dog. She enjoys hiking\, kayaking\, eating\, travel\, and outdoor activities with her family.\n\n\n\nOur mission is to promote the sharing of health-related resources and information while providing a forum for networking and education for local traditional and alternative health care professionals.
