DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO ICY CONDITIONS! \n\n\n\nWe will reschedule\, and post the new date on our social media pages as well as on our website.\n\n \n\nOur mission is to promote the sharing of health-related resources and information while providing a forum for networking and education for local traditional and alternative health care professionals.\n\n\n\nThis power-packed hour is focused on health care partners and Tualatin community citizens wanting to network with other health care professionals while learning about the medical specialties available in our community. Attendance is FREE\, for members & non-members. Please bring guests! We do request that you RSVP.\n\n\n\nThis February's presentation will be by Dr. John Pauley PT\, DPT titled "Skilled Therapy Programming and the Impact on the Aging Paradigm"\n\nAging is inevitable. It's happening at this very moment. Normal aging is seen throughout the community with individuals of all ages completing their activities of daily living. However\, what happens when the unthinkable happens and a loved one or an acquaintance gets injured and can no longer return home independently? Please join me\, John Pauley\, PT\, DPT\, in learning how a strong rehabilitation team utilizes cognitive screening tools (Cognitive Disabilities Model)\, balance programming (Standstrong)\, and chronic disease management programming (Take Charge/Take Heart) to optimize patient function\, facilitate safe discharge planning\, and reduce the risk of re-hospitalization.
