SUMMARY:2nd Annual First Responder 5K Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our Second Annual First Responder 5K!!  The fun run/walk will take place on June 13th in Cook Park\, Tigard. The same-day registration / sign in will begin at 8:00am and the race will start at 9:00am.\n\n \n\nThis event is to raise money for our Local American Red Cross chapter.  100% of the proceeds will go directly to them.  Last year we raised $10\,000 and this year our goal is to raise $15\,000.  Are other goals are to raise awareness to our First Responders\, (Fire Fighters\, Law Enforcement\, Paramedics\, EMT's\, Military\, etc.)\, and bring preparedness awareness to the front of the public's minds.  \n\n \n\nWe will have a DJ\, sponsor booths\, goodies\, snacks\, raffle prizes and our First Responders. Invite your friends\, family\, coworkers\, and clients! It will be a fun filled day with lots of activities\, music\, and preparedness tips.
