Join us this Memorial Day at Winona Cemetery. This event is open to all, a great place to bring family vet members (especially seniors). We will begin the program with Missing Man Maneuver flyover followed by the Tualatin Police Honor presenting the colors while the National Anthem is sung. Local churches, on a rotating basis, provide a veteran for the opening prayer. After a local veteran is honored, Tualatin Mayor, Lou Ogden, will introduce elected state and federal officials. The poem ?In Flander?s Field? will be recited before Taps closes the event.
Afterwards, everyone is invited to a free barbecue picnic at the Tualatin Community Park.

Tualatin Chamber of Commerce and Tualatin Life are sponsors of this important event. The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary puts on the picnic, organized by Daniel Payne. Food is purchased through various business donations. Dalton's NW Catering donates site prep, food prep (and also includes food extras) and serving.
